Procedures
Remove the soil approximately 3' out from the basement to the bottom of the footings to be repaired as per the approved engineered drawings. Load the material into trucks, or into a designated area pre-determined by the contractor and the homeowner. (Also check the plans).
Sand blast and clean the basement walls to be repaired prior to any Epoxy injection and rubberwall sealant applications.
Epoxy inject the basement walls on the inside of the home in the affected areas shown in the diagram.
Apply rubberwall sealant as needed to cover and seal the basement wall being repaired as per the approved drawing. Cover the rubberwall with foam board prior to back filling to protect the system.
Back fill the basement with road gravel material delivered to the job site. This product will reduce the pressure on the basement wall.
Top soil dumped on the job site for distribution by the loader on the top 6" back fill.
Tunnel under the existing footing and connect a new sump pump liner to the drain tile on the outside of the basement well. Install the new sump pump in an area shown on the approved drawings. Connect to the existing electrical system.
